Ocean View Continuing Care Centre in Eastern Passage, NS, Canada, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to organize and manage the nursing unit under the Neighbourhood Manager, ensuring quality care.

The role requires current NS registration, geriatric nursing experience, and leadership skills. It offers full-time and part-time shifts within a supportive, education-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Nova Scotia Nursing and Midwifery Regulator.
• Bachelor of Nursing or Nursing Administration course (preferred).
• Three (3) years geriatric nursing experience.
• Demonstrated administrative experience and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a contributing team member.
• Ability to work a 24-hour shift rotation on any nursing unit.
• Knowledge and experience in venipuncture (preferred).
• Demonstrated supervisory and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis.

Salary Range: In accordance with the Collective Agreement between Ocean View Manor andOcean View Manor Local of the Nova Scotia Nurse's Union.
