Job summary

Ocean View Continuing Care Centre is seeking a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) to provide personal care to residents in our Eastern Passage facility. The role requires certification as a CCA or equivalent and prior nursing experience in long-term care.

You must be reliable, with strong communication and the ability to work all shifts in a team environment. We offer a supportive workplace, comprehensive orientation, and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Continuing Care Assistant, Personal Care Worker, or Home Health Provider is required.
• Nursing experience in a long-term care facility.
• Ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Alzheimer and Other Related Dementia Provincial Certificate required.
• Demonstrated ability to work with residents with Alzheimer Disease and other related Dementia.
• Must provide clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
