Job summary

Ocean View Continuing Care Centre in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia, is seeking a Continuing Care Assistant to provide personal care to residents and support well-being within a diverse care team.

The role requires CNA/PSW certification, experience in long-term care, and the ability to work shifts. A clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector check are required. Offering a supportive environment and strong employee resources.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Continuing Care Assistant, Personal Care Worker, or Home Health Provider is required
• Alzheimer and Other Related Dementia Provincial Certificate required
• Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis
• Demonstrated ability to work with residents with Alzheimer Disease and other related Dementia
• Must provide clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work shift work
