Job summary

Ocean View Continuing Care Centre in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time role. The LPN will operate under the RN and Clinical Leader to deliver direct nursing care to residents and participate in an interdisciplinary team.

The position requires NS LPN registration, pharmacology training, and reliable attendance. A 24-hour shift rotation may be required. Ocean View offers a supportive work environment and opportunities for ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Nova Scotia Nursing and Midwifery Regulator.
• Recognized Pharmacology course and experience in the administration of medicines.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with residents, families, visitors, and co-workers.
• Ability to work a 24-hour shift rotation on any program area.
• Ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis.
• Heavy lifting required; demonstrated use of proper body mechanics.
