Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services at Carbonear General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse I for the Medicine Program on the 6th Floor. This permanent full-time role offers rotating day and night shifts, with 75 bi-weekly hours.

As an RN, you will coordinate holistic patient care, develop and evaluate care plans, and mentor the nursing team while ensuring documentation and nursing policies are followed to maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Formación

• Graduation from an approved/recognized school of nursing.
• Current and continuing practicing licensure as a Registered Nurse with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Nurses.
• A satisfactory record of work performance is required.

Responsabilidades

Demands, duties, qualifications

Job Summary

Registered Nurses coordinate and participate in the delivery of holistic and supportive care to patients/clients/residents by assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care. This may include the provision of health promotion, curative, supportive, rehabilitative, and palliative services. Registered Nurses may also provide professional supervision and direction or mentoring to the nursing care team while supporting other members of the interprofessional team to achieve safe and effective care of patients. As well, Registered Nurses ensure that documentation and nursing policies and practices are followed while working together with families to ensure the highest standard of care is provided.
