Job summary

ParaMed in Northwestern Ontario is seeking a Registered Nurse for community visits and full-time shifts, including every other weekend. You will assess patients, implement and monitor care plans, and document care in patient records during visits to homes and communities.

The role offers autonomy, a supportive team, and training; participation in career advancement opportunities is encouraged. Requirements include RN with CNO in good standing, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with CNO license in good standing.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
  • Experience delivering community care is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel to patient residences within a designated area.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients using appropriate tools to identify individualized needs.
  • Execute and monitor care plans.
  • Engage patients collaboratively to build rapport and trust.
  • Maintain and update patient records related to encounters and plans.
