Job summary

Cornerstone Dental Wellness in Okotoks, Alberta, is seeking a Registered and/or Certified Dental Assistant to join our patient-centered team. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, and contribute to a smooth patient experience.

The role includes taking X-rays, sterilization, chart updates, and patient education. Evening and Saturday hours are available, with a flexible schedule to support patient care and practice growth.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified Dental Assistant with provincial credentials.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
• Able to prepare treatment rooms, assist clinicians, and handle patient education.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments to ensure patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
