Job summary

Cornerstone Dental in Vernon, BC, is seeking a Registered and/or Certified Dental Assistant to join our team. The role involves preparing treatment rooms, assisting dentists, taking X-rays, sterilization, chart updates, and patient education, while upholding IPAC standards.

We offer a competitive pay range of $33–$38 per hour, with full-time or part-time schedules (no evenings or weekends) and a comprehensive rewards package including RRSP matching and extended benefits.

Qualifications

  • Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with provincial body is required.
  • Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
  • Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
  • Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
  • Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
  • Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
