Job summary

Cornerstone Dental Wellness in Okotoks, Canada is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our qualified team.

You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, take X-rays, manage sterilization, update patient charts, and provide oral-hygiene education, while upholding privacy and safety standards.

This on-site role offers collaborative support, ongoing professional development, and exposure to cutting-edge dental technologies within the Dentalcorp network.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or certified dental assistant with provincial regulatory body.
• Experience assisting dentists and hygienists preferred.
• Patient-centered care and teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

Schedule:

• Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Wednesday: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Thursday: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Minimum of 1 Saturday per month, with the flexibility to work additional Saturdays as needed.)
