Job summary

Bankers Hall Dental, part of the Dentalcorp network, invites applications for a Dental Assistant in downtown Calgary. The role focuses on preparing treatment rooms, assisting dentists and hygienists, taking X-rays, and maintaining patient care with a clean, safe environment.

Applicants must be registered/certified with their provincial regulatory body. Prior dental assisting experience is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth within a network-driven practice.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

Schedule: Monday & Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Wednesday & Thursday: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Occasional Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Your Role:

About You:
