As a key member of the Sales Organization, this position is responsible for developing and executing the Project business plan to achieve the company’s sustainable profitable sales growth across all product categories. This is done through effective management of specifications, driving brand standards, and sales activities with assigned key accounts and project influencers regionally. The role requires strategic and tactical thinking to grow share of wallet within the Duravit Brand across all product categories.

Role based in Toronto, ON

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Drive selling activities of the brand with Architects, Designers, General Contractors, and Developers to generate sales and meet growth objectives.
  2. Collaborate with all national sales teams and agencies in the designated territory to deliver sales results.
  3. Develop, lead, and manage regional project strategy and execution, in collaboration with sales agencies and direct staff.
  4. Deliver project customer presentations, proposals, and execute project conversions, providing comprehensive support and service.
  5. Coordinate, lead, manage, and delegate proposals to quotations to generate pull-through sales at the distribution level.
  6. Proactively seek out specification opportunities for projects and builders, building direct relationships to drive pipelines and partnerships.
  7. Liaise with marketing and product development to identify trends, gather marketing intelligence, and explore new product opportunities.

Job Specifications:

  • Required 5+ years of project sales experience.
  • Building products and/or plumbing experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with strategic, analytical, business, planning, problem-solving, and technical abilities.
  • Proven competence in account development, consultative selling, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to grow business organically.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence both within and outside the project team.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with internal and external customers.
  • Basic plumbing knowledge is an asset but not necessary.
  • Aptitude for emerging technologies and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP/CRM systems.
