Job description

Trioliet BV, a leading international manufacturer of feeding equipment for cattle located in the Netherlands, is currently seeking a Sales Manager for Eastern Canada. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide support to the existing dealers and to continue building the dealer network in the mentioned areas. The home-based office should be located in the mentioned area, preferably in Ontario or Quebec.

What you’ll do:
  • Develop and sustain strong partner relationships with our dealers and farmers in the area.
  • Represent Trioliet in the local market, brand and build Trioliet’s company profile with local influencers and provide expertise to the industry.
  • Promote Trioliet’s range of products to dealers and end-users and educate them on the full use of our products and solutions.
  • Develop a sales growth plan for market expansion within the territory.
  • Provide market insight on competitor activity.
  • Produce sales forecasts on an annual basis and in monthly updates.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, events, and demonstrations.
  • Manage personal goals, corporate objectives and maintain a customer focus.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing in both French and English to dealers and Trioliet staff in North America and the Netherlands.
  • Perform other reasonable duties.
Who you are:
  • Experience in a similar position and branch.
  • Demonstrates the ability to achieve and set goals.
  • Ability to influence internal and external decision makers.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in both French and English, including fundamental pitching and articulating ideas clearly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
  • Proven follow-up/persistence in challenging situations.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and adapt quickly.
  • Self-directed, entrepreneurial, and an out-of-the-box thinker with a proven ability to contribute in a team setting.
  • Authentic relationship builder who earns the confidence of others.
  • Bridges and sustains productive long-term partnerships based on mutual support.
  • Ability to work independently as well as be a strong team player, always seeking to improve team and organizational performance.
  • Currently residing within the province of Quebec with the ability to travel frequently.
  • Agricultural background is strongly preferred.
