Role Description

In this position, you will focus on expanding the business by increasing production and promoting consultative sales aligned with the regional sales plan. You will manage relationships with key Advisors and influencers, supporting their practice management and ensuring a seamless business experience with PPI. Collaboration with internal teams and other market segments is essential to deliver holistic solutions.

Responsibilities
  1. Community/Industry Engagement: Participate in community events, industry associations (ADVOCIS, STEP), and promote PPI's value.
  2. Support and develop strategic relationships within your region.
  3. Use a consultative approach to integrate insurance, estate, and tax planning into client discussions.
  4. Lead advocacy activities, resolve disputes, and support business development efforts.
  5. Implement and execute growth strategies and a client-centric business model.
  6. Enhance the advisor experience by simplifying processes for adding insurance solutions.
  7. Leverage PPI’s offerings, including the HNW advisory services, as differentiators.
  8. Utilize senior advisors and industry partnerships to support advisors' insurance needs.
  9. Maintain and develop relationships with influencers and firms across Canada, including credit unions and regulatory bodies.
  10. Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
  11. Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to stay ahead in the SR landscape.
  12. Align actions with PPI’s ESG commitments.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 8+ years in financial services, preferably in a strategic account role on IIROC/MFDA platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Designations such as CFP, CLU, CHS, PFP, FEA, Pl.Fin; CFP preferred, with willingness to obtain within 18 months.
  • Proven sales leadership and relationship management skills.
  • Strong industry knowledge, including regulatory environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, both verbal and written.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to adapt and evaluate results.
  • Team-oriented with emotional intelligence and resilience.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
