Overview

At First Onsite, we lead the restoration industry with our people. As the Regional Corporate Counsel, you will play a pivotal leadership role, advising on corporate, commercial, regulatory, risk, employment, and litigation matters. You will influence key business decisions, lead transformative initiatives, and be a trusted advisor to our leadership team in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
  • Draft and review contracts, including master service agreements and vendor agreements.
  • Manage legal risks and liabilities, including employment and litigation issues.
  • Support cross-border legal strategies and compliance.
  • Lead legal diligence for acquisitions and oversee litigation resolution.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate and Law degree; licensed to practice law in Ontario.
  • 5+ years of legal experience, preferably in high-volume environments or top-tier law firms.
  • Experience drafting commercial contracts and managing legal risks.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Culturally sensitive with the ability to build business relationships across borders.
