EllisDon Corporation is seeking a Quality Lead for PME Office in Fort Saskatchewan, Canada. You will champion and lead QA/QC, coordinate with the EllisDon Quality Director, and ensure project quality plans and ITPs are fully implemented on heavy civil works.

You bring a Civil or Construction Engineering credential with 3+ years of experience, senior Civil expertise, a valid driver’s license, and strong English communication to drive safe, compliant project delivery across sites.

Formación

  • Civil or Construction Engineering diploma or degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Senior Civil experience required.
  • Valid driver''s license and driving record (abstract) within 30 days.
  • Experience with quality management systems and practices.
  • Strong background in industrial heavy civil earthworks, road building, underground utilities.
  • Proactive, self-directed team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation is required.

Responsabilidades

  • Champion and lead implementation of best practices, risk management, and QA/QC activities.
  • Subject matter expert for quality inquiries for PME/ EDI.
  • Coordinate project quality programs and documentation with EllisDon Quality Director.
  • Review turnover packages and quality records.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Liaise with field operations and stakeholders to ensure quality standards.
  • Travel to project sites will be required.
  • Facilitate proper planning to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Oversee Subcontractor Quality Plans.
  • Prepare/coordinate ITPs for construction activities.
  • Ensure ITPs are implemented, hold/witness points attended, and issues resolved expediently.
  • Create and complete project-specific installation checklists.
  • Monitor construction activities and assess compliance with the quality management plan and contract specs.
  • Complete inspections and documentation for receiving components and materials.
  • Participate in consultant and client walkthroughs and close deficiencies.
