EllisDon Corporation in Edmonton is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment Manager to lead safety programs across earthworks, underground utilities, pipeline, and heavy civil construction. You will manage site orientations, incident investigations, corrective actions, and training such as WHMIS, Fall Protection, First Aid/CPR.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in health and safety for heavy civil projects, pursuit of or holding a NCSO designation, strong knowledge of Alberta OHS and COR

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Alberta OHS legislation and COR requirements.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead site safety programs across earthworks, underground utilities, pipeline and heavy civil projects.
  • Oversee site orientations, inspections, incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Deliver safety training (WHMIS, Ground Disturbance, Fall Protection, Confined Space, PPE, First Aid/CPR).
  • Monitor compliance of workers, subcontractors and equipment operators with safety requirements.
