Job summary

Definity, the parent company behind Economical Insurance, Sonnet Insurance and others, is seeking a Property Appraisal Triage specialist in Canada. You will review estimates, assign tasks to desk appraisers and national CAT adjusters, and collaborate with vendor partners to ensure timely, accurate outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft suite of software (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, OneDrive)
• Experience with construction estimating is an asset
• Bilingualism (English/French) is required, with strong written communication

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with Property Vendor Program Instructions and knowledge of Xactanalysis and Guidewire Claims Center (optional)
• Assist in reviewing new assignments and assigning them to the appropriate Appraiser/Group
• Collaborate with Definity Repair Partners to build positive working relationships
• Monitors estimating platforms to ensure vendors adhere to the Contractor Program Instructions
• Works closely with national stakeholders on programs and protocols
• Reads and interprets industry standard scope/estimates
• Assists with distribution of file escalations
• Maintains expertise in estimating software and hardware
• Participates in projects and other initiatives by Claims Management Team
