Construction Project Scheduler

Summary: A reputable builder has continued to expand due to ongoing awarded projects and a strong pipeline. As a mid-size builder, they offer a mentorship program that allows employees to interact with leadership at various levels, supporting career development.

The Construction Project Scheduler will work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to create, monitor, and update project schedules on both master and five-week timelines. The Scheduler will also develop construction schedules for upcoming projects. The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in Microsoft Project and possess a solid understanding of the commercial construction process.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain master schedules for all projects.
• Create conceptual schedules for budgeting and bidding, often with limited information.
• Adjust preliminary schedules as new information arises to ensure a current schedule is maintained.
• Collaborate with Superintendents and Project Managers to finalize schedules before project start.
• Update project schedules weekly and create short-term look-ahead schedules.
• Identify schedule conflicts and assist in resolving them effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project is required.
• Experience with Procore, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam is highly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in high-pressure environments.
• Efficient and accurate work with minimal supervision.
• Professional, personable, and a strong team player.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
