Position Overview

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Media & Entertainment team, focusing on Scheduling capabilities within the Production Management & Platform organization. This is a remote position. The role involves understanding scheduling workflows, representing customer needs, and collaborating with internal teams to develop impactful product roadmaps in the Media & Entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer-Centric Leadership: Act as the customer-facing leader to learn, document, and advocate for customer needs, ensuring they drive our product direction.
  2. Roadmap Ownership: Develop and manage a clear and actionable product roadmap, prioritizing workflows and enhancements while managing risks and dependencies.
  3. Problem-Solving: Translate customer needs and problem statements into actionable story maps and solutions to guide development priorities.
  4. Collaborative Execution: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Scrum Masters, UX Designers, and Developers, to execute the product vision effectively.
  5. Continuous Discovery: Conduct ongoing customer discovery and validation to inform and optimize iterative development.
  6. Strategic Thinking: Balance big-picture vision with day-to-day execution, ensuring progress aligns with long-term goals.
  7. Risk Management: Work closely with leadership and teams to manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
  8. Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to keep solutions innovative and relevant.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. 7–10+ years of experience in product management or similar roles within the Media & Entertainment industry.
  2. Expertise in scheduling workflows and technology, with a strong understanding of customer pain points and solutions related to production management.
  3. Proficiency with Autodesk Production Management tools and relevant industry solutions.
  4. Proven ability to collaborate across teams and organizations.
  5. Strong strategic decision-making skills and ability to synthesize data and prioritize effectively.
  6. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  7. Adept at simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences.
