Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a Project Manager for a 5-month engagement in the agri-financial sector, with remote work and CST hours. You will steer full lifecycle delivery, manage scope, risks and governance, and collaborate across internal teams, vendors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of business experience, including at least 3–4 years leading projects, programs, organizational change, or business transformation.
• Experience with Agile, hybrid, and/or traditional project delivery; presenting recommendations to sponsors, steering committees, and senior leaders.
• Post-secondary education and a project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner; related certifications considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects or initiatives through the full project lifecycle, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business outcomes.
• Lead discovery, planning, requirements gathering, workshops, stakeholder interviews, and governance discussions.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk and issue logs, dependency logs, communication plans, governance processes, and status reports.
• Manage scope changes, assess impacts, and support governance decisions.
• Coordinate deliverables across internal teams, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders, including communications, marketing, digital, content, event, partnership, and engagement workstreams.
• Build stakeholder relationships and lead cross-functional collaboration and accountability.
• Monitor project performance and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
• Prepare project updates, options analyses, recommendations, and decision materials for sponsors and executives.
• Support Agile and hybrid delivery, including backlog, roadmap, and sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify improvements to project delivery, governance, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement.

• Experience creating project charters, business cases, project plans, schedules, budgets, governance frameworks, communication plans, and status reports.
• Experience with requirements gathering, scope management, stakeholder alignment, and management of risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Experience with Agile, hybrid, and/or traditional project delivery and presenting recommendations to sponsors, steering committees, and senior leaders.
• Post-secondary education in a related discipline or equivalent experience, and a project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent.
• Preferred background in communications and engagement, stakeholder partnerships, marketing, events, content production, or digital media delivery.
