Project Coordinator - Natural Forces Solar

Dartmouth, NS

Natural Forces Solar is a turnkey engineering, procurement and construction company specializing in the deployment of renewable energy systems. We are based in Dartmouth, NS and work on projects across Canada. We are seeking a full-time permanent Project Coordinator based in NS, able to travel to various sites as required.

The Project Coordinator will efficiently support projects from concept design to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and stakeholder alignment.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy and will support our growing business by working with a multidisciplinary team of experts to drive our projects forward with successful delivery.

Your Mission

  • Analyze project scope and requirements to determine design models for projects.
  • Maintain strong relationships with third party contractors and vendors to optimize communication.
  • Support the safe delivery of our projects from pre-construction to execution and close-out.
  • Develop and execute project budgets and schedules tailored for individual client requirements.
  • Coordinate various aspects of the project including logistics, contractors and suppliers to ensure milestones are being met.
  • Maintain construction database and ensure proper electronic filing.
  • Monitor and participate in Safety and Quality audits and reporting, problem solving as required.
  • Represent the company on project sites to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a technical field including but not limited to Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management or Technology.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Procore & Microsoft 365.
  • Construction management hands-on experience will be considered an asset.
  • Passion for renewable energy and dedicated to mitigating climate change.
  • Relationship building mindset establishing long term connections with current clients, contractors and consultants.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of troubleshooting complex decisions.
  • Process-driven attitude to effectively adapt to changing environments.
  • Keen to travel within Atlantic Canada and further afield.
