Zusammenfassung

Aecon Group Inc. is the project accounting partner for the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP) in Clarington, Ontario.

The Project Accountant will ensure proper billing, cost tracking, forecasting, and provide job costing information to project management. Reporting to the Project Accounting Supervisor, you will work with accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchasing, estimating, and finance to deliver accurate financial reports and monthly cost summaries.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting is required.
• Experience and designation based on level; CPA designation is valued.
• 3+ years of experience; CPA designation or equivalent is valued.
• Experience in construction or related industry is preferred.
• Progressive experience indicating analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and ability to balance multiple priorities.

Aufgaben

• Identify and forecast financial exposures with project/operations management.
• Prepare financial reports with project staff and finance departments.
• Review cost reports, budgets, and contracts for proper tracking.
• Reconcile monthly variances and analyze standard costs.
• Track productivity data and support quarterly forecasts and budgets.
• Prepare month-end entries and project cost reports for invoicing.
