Job summary

Aecon Nuclear is awarded a contract with Ontario Power Generation to support the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP). You will lead the frontline supervision, ensuring safe, on-time delivery while coordinating with OPG, engineering and quality teams.

The role requires extensive nuclear project experience, JV leadership, and a strong commitment to QA programs to meet stringent safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years construction and subcontractor supervision experience.
• Broad knowledge of construction technology, equipment, methods, and safety requirements.
• Experience in managing major refurbishment or complex nuclear projects.
• Experience managing and working in a large joint venture.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Solid understanding of Quality Assurance Programs and their significance to the nuclear industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Superintendents, Project Coordinators, General Foremen and Subject Matter Experts executing on shift.
• Monitor plans, schedules and identify risks and issues.
• Interface with OPG Work Coordinator and Construction Oversight.
• Create collaboration and partnering with OPG, Engineering, Quality, and the OCC.
• Escalate issues to the OCC Manager and report on progress.
• Ensure safety, quality and human performance programs are implemented and enforced.
