Job summary

Connective Support Society in Coquitlam, BC, seeks a Program Manager to lead and innovate our community programs. You will plan, organize, staff, and monitor activities to meet targets, while liaising with funders and regulators.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or professional designation and at least five years of relevant experience in community-based services, mental health, and criminal justice systems. Strong English communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or professional designation required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience in Community Living, Mental Health and Criminal Justice systems.
• Experience managing day-to-day program operations.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Knowledge and experience in group process, individual counseling and crisis management.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in hiring, training and supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Implements policies and procedures and develops manuals.
• Hires, supervises, evaluates, transfers and terminates staff to fulfill program goals.
• Arranges shift schedules and ensures staff coverage.
• Implements orientation, supervision, in-service training and evaluation.
• Maintains documentation of staff and contractor files and records.
• Oversees daily and monthly financial and administrative tasks.
• Develops and maintains inclusive programs and facilitates referrals.
• Coordinates other teams and programs; handles HR functions.
