Job summary

Masterfeeds Winnipeg is seeking a Production Bagger to join our manufacturing team. You will support packaging and processing of grain and feeds products, complete production documentation, and help maintain a safe, clean work environment on the plant floor.

The role requires 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the use of PPE. Day shifts with possible overtime; steel-toed boots are mandatory. English communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities
  • Responsible for packaging and processing of grain and feeds products
  • Complete production documentation and HACCP records
  • Perform bagging tasks accurately and in a timely manner
  • Participate in daily housekeeping activities
  • Assist plant personnel as needed, and requested by the leadership team
  • Complete necessary documentation to maintained uninterrupted workflow
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary atmosphere and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Other duties as required
Requirements
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • 1 to 2 years manufacturing experience
  • Basic troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Able to work at elevated heights as required
  • Capable of performing physical job duties (may include: lifting up to 50 lbs (25 kg) repeatedly, bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling and twisting safely)
  • Using personal protective equipment (PPE), must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions (may include: heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow-up
  • Understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Day shift with potential for overtime
  • Steel toed boots are mandatory
Preferred
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or agricultural setting
  • Trained in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
