Canada Packers in Souris, MB is hiring a Class 1 Feed Truck Driver for local routes. This full-time role (40 hours/week) offers up to $29.00 per hour with rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.

You’ll deliver feed products safely, provide courteous service, and help ensure animals receive nutrition on time. Working with the Transportation Supervisor, you’ll perform pre-trip inspections, keep accurate logs, and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with a favorable Driver’s Abstract.
• At least 1 year behind the wheel with Class 1 license; 3–5 years preferred.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service.
• Deliver loads of feed as assigned by the dispatcher.
• Perform daily pre-trip and weekly truck/trailer inspections.
• Report maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain the logbook as required.
• Keep the tractor/trailer clean and organized in all conditions.
• Complete all paperwork as required.
• Work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays.
• Operate in extreme temperatures from +40 to -40 degrees Celsius.
