Job summary

Masterfeeds Winnipeg is seeking a Production Bagger to join our Canadian agriculture team in Winnipeg, MB. The role focuses on packaging and processing of grain and feeds products, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and timely documentation.

You will complete HACCP records, participate in daily housekeeping, and support plant personnel as needed. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions, and rotate day/afternoon/night shifts.

Qualifications

  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • 1–2 years manufacturing experience.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Able to work at elevated heights.
  • Capable of performing physical job duties (lift up to 50 lbs/25 kg).
  • Willing to work day/afternoon/nights shift rotation.

As a Production Bagger the following will be your key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for packaging and processing of grain and feeds products
  • Complete production documentation and HACCP records
  • Perform bagging tasks accurately and in a timely manner
  • Participate in daily housekeeping activities
  • Assist plant personnel as needed, and requested by the leadership team
  • Complete necessary documentation to maintained uninterrupted workflow
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary atmosphere and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • 1 to 2 years manufacturing experience
  • Basic troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Able to work at elevated heights as required
  • Capable of performing physical job duties (may include: lifting up to 50 lbs (25 kg) repeatedly, bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling and twisting safely)
  • Using personal protective equipment (PPE), must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions (may include: heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow-up
  • Understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Must be willing and able to work day/afternoon/nights shift rotation
  • Steel toed boots are mandatory

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or agricultural setting
  • Trained in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
