Job summary

Canada Packers is looking for a hands-on Production Operator to join our Souris Feed Mill team. You will help produce high-quality animal feed in a safe, efficient, and team-driven environment, with rotating shifts that include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and support daily feed production.
• Work with machines, equipment and computer systems to produce animal feed.
• Complete required paperwork for assigned tasks.
• Follow manufacturing practices and safety policies.
• Follow housekeeping standards.
• Operate plant equipment to achieve daily production targets.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machines.
• Communicate changes in product flow, equipment malfunctions, shortages or deviations to Team Lead or Maintenance.
• Collect raw material and final product samples and perform tests to ensure specifications.
• Measure and weigh ingredients.
• Follow quality standards and maintain feed safety documentation.

Salary:Starting wage from $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

As a Production Operator, you'll be responsible for operating equipment and supporting daily feed production. Your responsibilities will include:

Working with machines, equipment & computer systems to produce animal feed

Completing required paperwork for assigned tasks

Following manufacturing practices & safety policies

Following housekeeping standards

Operation of plant equipment to achieve daily production targets

Performing troubleshooting and minor repairs on machines

Communicating any changes in product flow, equipment malfunctions, shortages or deviations from specifications to Team Lead or Maintenance

Collecting raw material and final product samples and performing tests to ensure raw material and final product meet specifications

Measuring & weighing of ingredients

Following quality standards and ensuring proper documentation for feed safety

Skills & Experience:
