Job summary

Canada Packers is seeking a Production Operator at Landmark Feed Mill to join a hands-on, team-driven environment that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

You will operate machines, document tasks, perform basic troubleshooting, and work with maintenance technicians and truck drivers to meet daily production goals.

The position is full-time with rotating shifts including weekends/holidays, offering a starting wage of $19 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada (proof may be requested).
  • Willingness to learn new processes and equipment.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machines, equipment and computer systems to produce animal feed.
  • Complete required paperwork for assigned tasks.
  • Follow manufacturing practices and safety policies.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards.
  • Operate plant equipment to meet daily production targets.
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machines.
  • Communicate changes, malfunctions, shortages or deviations to Lead or Maintenance.
  • Collect raw material and final product samples and perform tests.
  • Measure and weigh ingredients.

About this opportunity:

Location: LandmarkFeed Mill

Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Salary: Starting wage from $19.00 per hour.

Schedule: Rotating shifts that include weekends, and holidays.

Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can be part of a team that keeps things moving? As a Production Operator at Canada Packers, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality animal feed in a safe, efficient, and team-driven environment.

This position is part of a collaborative team that includes maintenance technicians and truck drivers, all working together to meet daily production goals. If you enjoy working with machines, solving problems, and being part of a fast-paced operation, this could be the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Working with machines, equipment & computer systems to produce animal feed
  • Completing required paperwork for assigned tasks
  • Following manufacturing practices & safety policies
  • Following housekeeping standards
  • Operation of plant equipment to achieve daily production targets
  • Performing troubleshooting and minor repairs on machines
  • Communicating any changes in product flow, equipment malfunctions, shortages or deviations from specifications to Team Lead or Maintenance
  • Collecting raw material and final product samples and performing tests to ensure raw material and final product meet specifications
  • Measuring & weighing of ingredients
  • Following quality standards and ensuring proper documentation for feed safety
Skills & Experience:
