Job summary

More Than Just Feed Inc is seeking a Plant Production Operator to ensure the timely manufacture of animal feed. This role involves shift work and manual labor in both indoor and outdoor settings. Training is provided; feed mill experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accurate manufacturing, packaging, and labeling of feed; monitoring of automated mill software.
• Adhere to production and delivery schedules.
• Inspection, sampling, and receiving of inbound bulk, bagged, and toted ingredients.
• Loadout of product onto outbound bulk/bag trucks.
• Weighing of inbound/outbound trucks.
• Complete preventative maintenance on equipment as directed; assist in repair and maintenance projects as required.
• Proactively maintain facility cleanliness.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the Plant Production Operator is responsible to ensure the timely manufacture of animal feed and ingredients. This role involves shift work and manual labor in indoor and outdoor settings (training provided). Feed mill production experience is considered an asset but is not required. We seek people who will bring a collaborative approach, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and focus on quality to work with them every day.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

• Accurate manufacturing, packaging, and labeling of feed; monitoring of automated mill software
• Adhere to production and delivery schedules
• Inspection, sampling, and receiving of inbound bulk, bagged, and toted ingredients
• Loadout of product onto outbound bulk/bag trucks
• Weighing of inbound/outbound trucks
• Complete preventative maintenance on equipment as directed; assist in repair and maintenance projects as required
• Proactively maintain facility cleanliness
