Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Staff Product Manager on the Credit & Pricing team to shape how consumers discover, understand, and use available credit. You’ll own the strategy for credit experiences spanning shopping, repayment, and marketing.

You’ll collaborate across Engineering, Design, Analytics, Marketing, and Legal to translate capabilities into clear, trusted consumer journeys that drive activation, conversion, and repeat engagement while upholding responsible access to credit.

Qualifications

• A track record of building impactful consumer products in fintech, e-commerce, marketplaces, or similarly complex environments.
• Leadership across teams, setting direction and aligning multiple teams around priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Strong consumer product judgment with ability to translate complex systems into intuitive experiences, with a high bar for interaction design and consumer trust.
• Strategic and technical depth, working with engineers on capabilities that serve multiple experiences.
• Analytical and experimental rigor using customer research and data to prioritize opportunities and scale decisions.
• Ownership in ambiguity, bringing structure to open-ended problems and communicating rationale and risks.

Responsibilities

• Set the product direction and define a cohesive vision for consumer credit experiences, prioritizing across teams.
• Build experiences that make credit understandable, helping consumers explore financing options before checkout and understand purchase power.
• Develop personalized journeys using research and experimentation to meet user needs.
• Connect platform capabilities to outcomes by owning merchant prequalification and purchasing power experiences.
• Lead decisions by coordinating with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Credit, Marketing, Commercial, and Legal to resolve tradeoffs.
• Define success, conduct discovery and experiments, and improve activation, conversion, and engagement while promoting responsible access to credit.
