Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the consumer credit experiences, working remotely within Canada.

This role focuses on defining the product direction, enabling customers to explore financing options, and shaping personalized journeys across checkout and post-purchase stages. You will collaborate with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Credit, Marketing, Commercial, and Legal to align priorities, drive measurable outcomes, and ensure responsible access to credit.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience in fintech, e-commerce, marketplaces, or similar complex environments.
• Ability to set direction for a substantial product area and align multiple teams around measurable outcomes.
• Strong judgment translating complex systems into intuitive consumer experiences.
• Proven ability to combine research, data, and experiments to prioritize opportunities and scale what works.
• Comfort making decisions with incomplete information and communicating rationale, risks, and needs.

Responsibilities

• Set the product direction and define a cohesive vision for consumer credit experiences.
• Build experiences that help consumers explore financing options before checkout and understand credit availability.
• Create personalized consumer journeys using research and experimentation.
• Own merchant prequalification and purchasing power experiences in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Lead cross-functional decision-making with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Credit, Marketing, and Legal.
• Define success metrics, run discovery and experiments, and optimize activation, conversion, and engagement.
