Role Description

The Product Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB, responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle selection and purchase process. Day-to-day tasks include greeting and engaging customers, understanding their needs, presenting suitable Volkswagen models, and explaining features, pricing, and financing options in a clear and transparent manner. The role involves conducting test drives, following up with prospective buyers, maintaining product knowledge on the latest models and technologies, and collaborating with team members to ensure a seamless sales and delivery experience. The Product Advisor will also support dealership events, uphold showroom standards, and contribute to achieving sales targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and sales skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, including active listening and clear, professional verbal and written communication.
• Solid analytical skills to understand customer needs, compare products, and support pricing and financing discussions.
• Foundational product management skills, including maintaining up-to-date knowledge of vehicle features, trims, and inventory.
• Previous experience in automotive sales or retail customer-facing roles is an asset.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and meeting performance goals.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership software and digital tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business or a related field is beneficial.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by dealership operations.
