Job summary

The Wood Automotive Group in Calgary is seeking a Service Advisor for our South Centre Volkswagen team. You will greet customers, generate work orders, explain estimates, and coordinate with service staff to ensure timely repairs.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of service advising experience, holds a valid AB driver's license, and demonstrates excellent customer service. We offer competitive pay, a solid benefits package, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service advising experience.
• Valid AB driver's license and a clean, current driver’s abstract.

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming customers and generate work orders as per repair order.
• Check vehicle for applicable warranty.
• Follow proper paperwork procedures for the service department.
• Phone customers with proper estimates for both required and recommended work.
• Recommend appropriate needed repairs and maintenance.
• Answer phones and provide information as required.
• Contact customers and resolve complaints as required.
• Liaise with service personnel for daily shop carry over.
• Follow up calls to notify customers when vehicles are ready.
• Review invoices with customers at pickup time.
• Call back customers to check satisfaction with repair.

About the role:

• Reporting to the Service Manager, the successful candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and will demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to total customer loyalty and follow up!

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Greet incoming customers and generate work orders as per repair order
• Check vehicle for applicable warranty
• Follow proper paper procedure for service department
• Phone Customers with proper estimates for both required and recommended work
• Recommend appropriate needed repairs and maintenance
