Job summary

Staples Canada is seeking a proactive Retail Associate to support customer service and print service operations in-store. You will learn products and services to offer informed recommendations and contribute to achieving sales and margin goals.

You will handle POS transactions, process print orders, ensure supplies are stocked, and maintain merchandising standards while delivering friendly, helpful service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement.
• Utilize selling model to provide informed recommendations across products and services.
• Collaborate with store leaders to set and achieve sales and margin goals.
• Perform in-store print production and maintain print area operations.
• Maintain health, safety, asset protection and privacy policies.
• Engage with and sell to customers using all tools and techniques to anticipate needs.
• Handle POS transactions, including shipping and marketing tools to convert customers.
• Process intake or pickup of customer orders in Print and manage dashboards and queues.
• Ensure print machines are stocked with supplies and orders are catalogued correctly.
• Maintain merchandising standards and accurate inventory control around print and cash areas.
• Learn and adhere to all standards in Print and Services areas, including audits and brand standards.
