Job summary

White Spot invites applications for a Prep Cook to join our kitchen team in Nanaimo. You will work with high-quality locally sourced ingredients to kickoff prep for menu items in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers flexible hours, employee discounts on our food, opportunities to develop and advance, and access to an in-house Red Seal program for eligible kitchen leaders and future leaders.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preparing food.

Pay range: $19.00 - $23.00

Estimated average of $4.40 - $5.30 per hour in tip pool

Requirements

• Previous experience preparing food
• Ability to consistently demonstrate high standards of food safety and cleanliness
• Strong organizational skills
• Food Safe level 1 accreditation preferred
• Must have daytime availability
