Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a related field, such as hospitality management.
• 2-4 years of experience supervising a premium food and beverage operation.
• Proven leadership in rallying a team to achieve peak potential.
• Superior communication and conflict resolution skills across all staff levels.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to manage conflicting deadlines.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays due to event-based schedule.
• Onsite role at Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior customer service and create memorable guest experiences through hiring, training of part-time supervisors and staff.
• Actively engaging with guests to ensure premium level of service and guest satisfaction.
• Maximize sales potential through guest satisfaction and generating leads for future functions.
• Oversee catering events, manage timelines and supervise staff, and manage event budgets.
• Meet with new clients, provide facility tours, and review event details.
• Prepare contracts detailing all catering event specs.
• Greet guests and handle client concerns, following up after events.
• Ensure high food quality in presentation and production.
