Job summary

You’ll navigate a matrixed, international organization, fluent in English and French, travel up to 20%, and shape supply strategies for major grid technology projects across Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business, Engineering, or related field, plus 5+ years in Civil Construction or Preconstruction.
• Advanced negotiation skills in project-based environments.
• Fluent in English and French; able to translate technical and commercial details for diverse audiences.
• Team-oriented, customer-focused mindset with strong time-management abilities.
• Willing to travel up to 20% within Canada and internationally.
• Experience operating in a matrixed, international organization.

Responsibilities

• Own your portfolio as the main procurement interface for civil, electrical installation, and engineering services, coordinating with subcontractors.
• Shape supply and subcontractor strategies for FACTS and HVDC projects to support Canada’s energy transition.
• Lead commercial evaluations and negotiations with technical experts to align on scope and solutions.
• Drive cost efficiency and supplier performance through innovative procurement practices.
• Collaborate across Procurement, Civil Engineering, Erection & Commissioning, and Project Management throughout the project lifecycle.
