Job summary

Siemens Energy in Ontario, Canada seeks a Commercial Sales Manager for Grid Technologies to lead end-to-end commercial and financial aspects of the sales/bid process, coordinating with legal and finance teams.

You will analyze customer requirements, model business scenarios, manage contract terms, pricing, and payment structures, and steer risk and opportunity assessments while engaging cross‑functional partners across regions and HQ.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration/ Management, Finance, Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in finance functions including project financing, accounting and reporting principles.
• Experience in commercial bid or sales management with external customers.
• Analytical thinking with problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communications in French and English; writing, speaking and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Handle all commercial and financial topics throughout the sales/bid process.
• Lead negotiations with support of the legal team.
• Interact with diverse international team and HQ.
• Analyze customer requirements and define winning strategy with Sales Manager.
• Manage contract analysis, cost calculation, financing concepts, currency, hedging and payments.
