As a Pre-Construction Commodity Manager, you’ll be a key driver in how Siemens Energy delivers major Grid Technology projects across Canada. You’ll build strong relationships with construction contractors and suppliers, negotiate strategic agreements, and ensure the right partners and materials are in place for complex civil and installation work. • Lead commercial evaluations and negotiations, partnering closely with technical experts to align on scope, requirements, and solutions.
• Drive cost efficiency and innovation, bringing forward ideas that strengthen project execution and supplier performance.
• Collaborate across disciplines — Procurement, Civil Engineering, Erection & Commissioning, and Project Management — to ensure procurement excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

What You Bring

• A bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5+ years of experience in Civil Construction or Preconstruction.

Pay Transparency

This job may be based in Oakville, Ontario. Siemens Energy offers a variety of benefits including health and wellness, paid time off and holiday pay. The base salary range for this position is $87,000 - $124,000.
