Honda of Thornhill in Thornhill, ON is seeking a Portfolio Retention Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive client retention through the portfolio management system One Eighty and CDK. The role focuses on business development via the client database, selling cash, lease, and finance renewals, educating clients on dealer options, and maintaining a customer-focused retail environment.

The position offers growth within a Fortune 500 partner with opportunities across Canada and the U.S.,

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in similar capacity and/or automotive lease administration is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal & written English) and customer service skills.
• Valid OMVIC License and Valid Ontario Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Experience with One-Eighty and CDK is an asset.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provides customers with explanations of aftermarket products and extended warranties.
• Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
• Reviews sales agreement to ensure vehicle, options and price are correct.
• Completes credit applications with customers and discusses payment terms.
• Completes paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely and efficient manner.
• Explains dealership service procedures and policies to customers.
• Coordinates with customers to explain leasing services and renewals.
• Maintains customer and account information in One Eighty.
• Keeps information confidential and secure.
• Keeps abreast of new products and benefits to customers.

Portfolio Retention Manager - Honda of Thornhill, Thornhill, ON L4J1A1

This position will be focused on business development through the client database, to promote and sell cash, lease, and finance renewals. They will be responsible for establishing client retention processes and actively selling through portfolio management databases. They will educate clients on various dealer options while promoting an overall positive customer focused retail environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides customers with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties.
• Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
• Reviews sales agreement with the customer to ensure vehicle, options and price are correct.
• Completes credit application with the customer and discusses payment terms.
• Completes paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provides customers with a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
• Calls and coordinates with customers to explain leasing services and renewals.
• Monitors and organizes appointments and customer account information in One Eighty.
• Maintains customer and company confidence by keeping information confidential and secure.
• Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.
• Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in similar capacity and/or automotive lease administration is required.
• Valid OMVIC License
• Valid Ontario Driver's License and clean driver's abstract
• Experience with One-Eighty and CDK is an asset.
• Proficient with the following computer environments: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook.
• Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal & written English) and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
• A calm but professional demeanor for dealing with customers regarding their accounts balanced with, a perseverance to maintain pressure for payment with difficult accounts.
• Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of pertinent data.
