Pfaff Automotive Partners in Thornhill, Ontario is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support our service department. You will manage parts requests, maintain accurate inventory, and ensure technicians have the materials needed for repairs and maintenance.

The role requires experience in shipping/receiving or inventory control, familiarity with automotive parts, and the ability to use inventory or POS software. A valid driver's license is a plus in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/receiving, inventory management, automotive parts or related field.
• Knowledge of automotive service operations and vehicle components or ability to learn quickly.
• Experience using computerized inventory management or point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to identify automotive parts using catalogs and lookup systems.

Responsibilities

• Take Service Technicians' parts orders and fulfill them accurately and efficiently.
• Assist Technicians in determining parts and accessory requirements for repair orders.
• Identify and recommend related parts to complete repairs.
• Prepare and update outstanding customer parts requests and work orders.
• Verify correct part numbers on repair orders and ensure accurate parts posting.
• Pre-stage parts for upcoming sales and service repair orders.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
• Maintain inventory organization and stock accuracy.
• Keep parts and receiving areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shipping/Receiving Clerk - Honda of Thornhill, Thornhill, ON L4J1A1

Honda of Thornhill is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our growing team. In this role, you will support our Service Department by managing parts requests, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring technicians have the parts and materials needed to efficiently complete repairs and maintenance work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take Service Technicians' parts orders and fulfill them accurately and efficiently.
• Assist Service Technicians in determining parts and accessory requirements for individual repair orders.
• Identify and recommend related parts that may be required to complete repairs.
• Prepare and update outstanding customer parts requests and work orders.
• Verify correct part numbers on repair orders and ensure accurate parts posting.
• Pre-stage parts for upcoming sales and service repair orders.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
• Maintain inventory organization and stock accuracy.
• Ensure the parts and receiving areas remain clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping/receiving, inventory management, automotive parts, or a related field.
• Knowledge of automotive service operations and vehicle components, or the ability to quickly learn.
• Experience using computerized inventory management or point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to accurately identify automotive parts and accessories using manufacturer catalogs and electronic lookup systems.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is considered an asset.
