Job summary

River Cree Resort & Casino is seeking a Poker Houseman to supervise daily poker department operations and ensure outstanding customer service. You will enforce house rules, coordinate events, and coach staff on game policies and cheating monitoring.

The role requires 2–3 years in the casino/poker industry, with hands-on poker dealer experience and a strong customer-service mindset. Shift work, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, is expected.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in the casino/poker industry.
• Minimum 1–2 years demonstrated experience as a poker dealer.
• Interpersonal skills to work with guests and teams.
• Ability to adapt rules, behaviors, and procedures per guidelines.
• Leadership to guide staff toward department objectives.
• Proven problem-solving to move the department toward goals.
• Certification is completed in-house.
• Ability to work in high-stress environments.
• Experience with slot machines procedures and maintenance.
• Knowledge and passion for poker.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior guest service and uphold the organization’s vision.
• Oversee day-to-day poker operations and event coordination.
• Schedule, payroll management, disciplinary actions, and staff training/mentoring.
• Monitor for cheating and advantage play; coach associates for effectiveness.
• Coordinate player table and seat placement and scheduling.
• Ensure safety and health standards in the workplace.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
