Job summary

The River Cree Resort & Casino seeks a Surveillance Operator to monitor the gaming floor and premises using electronic systems. You will report suspicious activities to management and support colleagues in protecting guests, staff, and assets while ensuring compliance with department policies.

The role requires strong English communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work varied shifts to cover late nights, weekends, and holidays. Casino experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and comprehend English proficiently.
• Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of casino security policies and log maintenance.
• Must hold or be eligible for a registered gaming worker license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patrons and associates on surveillance equipment to identify potential problems.
• Report suspicious activities to proper managers and maintain logs of procedures.
• Protect patrons, staff, and property assets while adhering to policies.
• Support other departments to protect company assets as needed.
• Provide evidence in legal matters arising from incidents.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with health/safety requirements.
