Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Technical Support Engineer in Toronto to troubleshoot and resolve platform issues for enterprise clients. You will work with Jira Service Desk and cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑driven insights and reliable support across APIs, IoT, and white‑label services.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree or 4+ years of experience, strong SQL knowledge, and experience with telemetry tools like DataDog, New Relic, or Dynatrace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Technical Diploma in a technical field or 4+ years of related practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server).
• Experience with telemetry and logging tools (DataDog, Dynatrace, New Relic, Sentry).
• Proficient with incident and ticket management tools (Jira, Zendesk, Intercom) and automated workflows.
• Experience with multiple testing environments (UAT, prod) and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical queries and platform issues for Enterprise Partners.
• Detect trends and provide actionable insights through data analysis and reports.
• Manage stakeholder requests via Jira Service Desk and ensure SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with Product and Development to drive feature improvements and bug fixes.
