Job summary

Dick's Lumber in Alberta is seeking an HR Generalist / Business Partner to provide HR guidance across 3 lines of business in 11 locations, with Balzac as base. This on-site role includes employee relations, policies, training and performance management.

You will partner with local leadership to oversee employee relations, investigations when needed, and support workforce planning, onboarding, and recruitment while fostering a positive, inclusive culture across all sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an HR generalist role, including employee relations and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and applicable employment legislation.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, consultation, and relationship-building skills.

In the role of HR Generalist/Business Partner you will provide HR guidance and support across 3 lines of business in 11 locations throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan. This position is a is a full-time, on-site role based in Balzac, with some travel to other locations required. Your main role will be to provide HR partner to local leadership in the areas of employee relations, HR policies and procedures, training and performance management.
