Job summary

Bird Nason Contracting Group is currently seeking Local Pipefitter Journeypersons for our project at DOW Chemical Cogen in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB; Schedule Rotation: 14 days on, 7 days off; Hours: 10 hours / day; Accommodations: N/A; Travel: N/A; Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement.

You will perform process piping and equipment installations, threading, cutting, grooving, bending, and measurement while following plans, specs and EH&S

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson Certificate or Apprentice Certificate.
• CSTS 2020
• WHMIS 2015
• Fall Protection
• MEWP
• Confined Space
• Fire Watch
• Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
• Experience on major industrial project sites
• The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
• Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
