Job summary

Bird Nason Contracting Group is currently seeking By Hand Welders with Stainless Steel experience for our project at DOW Chemical UPI scope in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Night and day shifts available, schedule rotation 14/7, and benefits with RRSP provided per collective agreement.

You will perform accurate By Hand Welding, ensure welds meet quality standards and collaborate with pipefitters, apprentices and shop crew to maintain efficient shop flow.

Qualifications

• CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 certifications required.
• Journeyperson Welder with CWB certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with stainless steel.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate By Hand Welding.
• Ensure welds meet quality standards and pass required inspections.

What You Will Be Working On

• Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.
• Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
• The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
• Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
