Job summary

University Health Network (UHN) West Park Campus is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a permanent part-time role. The position offers 22.5 hours per week with shifts days and weekends.

Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager III, you will perform compounding, dispensing, stock replenishment and maintain patient information in the pharmacy system. Qualifications include completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program, registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, strong communication

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program is required.
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician (Part A) with the Ontario College of Pharmacists is required.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn and troubleshoot changing technologies/machinery.
• Two years practical and related experience preferred.
• Previous hospital experience with unit dose system and intravenous admixture service preferred.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.

• Ensuring patient information is updated and maintained in the pharmacy computer system.

Duties
