Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Canada is seeking a pharmacy assistant to be the first point of contact for clients, gathering data for prescriptions and preparing medications. The role includes preparing pillboxes and maintaining a clean, efficient laboratory. Training is provided, and DEP in Pharmacy Tech is a strong asset.

Hours per week range from 10 to 30, with basic French and English knowledge required. Flexible hours and a competitive benefits package are offered to support work/life balance.

Job description

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• Be the first contact with the clientele, so that they feel at ease; your welcome, your empathy and your professionalism will be put to good use;
• Identify the needs of the clientele by collecting the necessary data for the preparation of prescriptions;
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems for the clientele;
• For some PJC, prepare pillboxes;
• Ensure the hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory in order to facilitate its proper functioning.

To hold this position, it is possible:

• Holding a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) as a Pharmacy Technical Assistance is a strong asset
